Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup for brows. Instead of a block of colour, fine hair strokes are added by hand, one at a time, so the result looks like natural brow hair. Jenny designs each set around your face shape, colouring and personal style, which is why no two sets of brows leave LiShic Beauty looking the same. Results soften gradually over time rather than staying forever.
Microblading is ideal if your brows have been over-plucked, if you have sparse or patchy areas that will not grow back, or if you simply want a better shape without pencilling them in every morning. It also helps clients with hair loss caused by conditions such as alopecia or trichotillomania. Your consultation is the time to talk through your skin, your health and any concerns, so Jenny can confirm it is the right treatment for you.
Allow around 75 minutes. This includes around 35 minutes relaxing in the room with numbing cream on, so you can have a little nap or some chill time while it works. Nothing is rushed. Jenny is known for being precise and for making every client feel like the only client of the day.
Final results last around 12 months, although this differs for each person. Skin type, lifestyle and how closely you follow your aftercare all play a part. Because it is difficult to predict how well your skin will hold the colour, the six week top up is an essential part of the treatment. After that, colour boost appointments keep your brows looking fresh.
This is completely normal. Freshly microbladed brows appear darker and more defined than the healed result. Over roughly two weeks the colour softens as your skin settles. Your top up appointment at around six weeks is when Jenny perfects the colour and fills any strokes that have faded more than others.
Everyone feels treatments differently, and Jenny's clients often comment on how gentle she is and how relaxed they felt. She explains each stage as she goes and checks in with you throughout. If you are nervous about comfort, mention it at your consultation and she will talk you through exactly what to expect.
Yes, that is the whole idea. Jenny's approach is to shape, define and gently plump so your lips still look like yours. She uses a smooth hyaluronic acid gel, a substance already found in your skin, which draws in moisture for a soft finish. Most lip and cheek filler appointments take around 45 minutes, including numbing time. How long results last varies from person to person.
As with any filler treatment, some swelling or bruising is possible for a few days afterwards. Jenny explains what to expect and how to care for your lips before you leave, so you know exactly what is normal while they settle. If you have a big event coming up, book your appointment a couple of weeks ahead to give your lips time to settle.
Lycon is a low temperature hot wax that shrink-wraps each hair. It removes hair as short as 1mm, so you do not need to wait for much regrowth, and it can be reapplied to the same area without causing trauma or irritation. Jenny uses Lycon hot wax for sensitive areas and Lycon strip wax for larger areas such as legs and arms.
Plasma fibroblast is a non-surgical skin tightening treatment. A plasma pen creates tiny points on the surface of the skin, and the area tightens as it heals. It is usually chosen for small areas such as the eyelids, around the mouth or the neck, and for skin imperfections such as sun spots. Healing time and results vary, so Jenny covers suitability and aftercare in detail at your consultation.
It depends on what your skin needs. Skin boosters such as Profhilo and Rev Pro 32 hydrate from within and improve texture and elasticity. Plenhyage polynucleotides focus on repair and overall skin quality. Derma 2.0 Firming/Tone Mesotherapy is great for repairing and regenerating the skin and helps stimulate collagen and elastin. If you are unsure, book a consultation and Jenny will recommend a plan.
It depends on the product. With Profhilo, the first two treatments are carried out one month apart, with a maintenance treatment recommended at around six months. Rev Pro 32 can be booked as two sessions four weeks apart. Profhilo, Rev Pro 32 and Plenhyage are generally best suited to clients aged 30 and over. Jenny will plan your course with you.
